So far this week has been off to a large news filled start.
Electronics:
T-Mobile announced that Microsoft/Danger lost most of their Sidekick subscribers data in error while trying to upgrade their servers. Where is the back up info Microsoft? ouch. In response T-Mobile will credit their customers with a $20 fee, or the same amount for the data use. While customers are still outraged, generally the Sidekick is garbage, out dated and only little kids use them. Does this mean anything for iPhone users and other ridiculous bloggers try to pass off as a way for you to read their crap? Nope. Just make sure you back up your own stuff because you clearly can’t relay on others. It’s your responsibility so don’t cry when you lose the info.
Movies:
Same ole Same ole… but Paranormal, which has barely used the conventional means of marketing has supposedly opened with huge box office numbers. This could be a useful trend for future low budget flicks, but we are still waiting to hear something on the up coming release of Boondock Saints: All Saints Day due out Oct. 30. Also if you haven’t seen Zombieland already, you truly need to check it out. Who you gonna call! Zombie Ghost Buster… you’ll have to see it to know what that means.
N. Korea:
North Korea continues to still try blowing shit up and launching missiles. Not good.
Jimmy Fallon:
He still sucks and we wish he was off the air. Fallon = Failn.
Twitter-Shatter:
Miley quit twitter… good? Sure, why not. Stan Lee may be on it. Not verified quite yet.
Some unmentionable fools decided they would steal the source code of Heath Ledges death article on CNN and convert it to a Zack Braff committed suicide article. It was poorly done and clearly not on the CNN home site. You can do a quick Google search to find it but we won’t be posting their site as they simply did this to get publicity for their tween made awkward site. It has some odd count down saying there will be a live camera in their apartment to view their life in the coming week. I assure you they will have nothing interesting going on, just stick with Stickam.
Did we miss something? Probably. Do we care? Sure don’t! Tune in next week for another random update of worthless-ish news.
Windows 7 Hands on review to come shortly after it’s release. We will also possibly have a quick tutorial on transferring from Windows Vista to Windows 7 depending upon time allotted. Also depends if the new Dell XPS 9000 ever ships in to us, which will also have a hands on review.. tearing it apart and adding some frankensteiny goodness to it.
