E-mails from a crazy eBay sales-"woman" $3.25 earbuds with a side of crazy please

The following e-mails come from a chain of correspondences between EvO and a crazy woman from eBay. Check out part two of the crazy eBay saleswoman – Brandy. Basically what happened is I purchased a very cheap pair of earbuds for my iPhone till I found a decent pair. I paid $3.25, which included shipping.. so you know they had to be freakn sweet. In the end I’m pretty sure I was dealing with the loch ness monster off of Southpark who tricks people into getting about $3.50. Any who, I never intended to gather such a humorous event out of my $3.25, but the following e-mails (which are in reverse order from most recent to the start) clearly show that I was at first messing with “her” and saying I didn’t want to deal with her at all. I simply gave her product a neutral review of it was cheap and I got what I paid for. Shortly after the e-mails from her came pouring in, bribing me to change it to a positive review in exchange for another crappy pair of earbuds.. or my $3.25 back. Honestly I’m not sounding like a snobby d-bag, but I wasn’t about to pay to have broken earbuds back to her for $3.25 and I sure as hell didn’t want another set of those pieces of crap. She later ups the anti to 3 pairs, if I’ll be nice to her. I’ll post the most recent e-mail I sent to her, with guaranteed page long response when I get it back from her.

Wow obviously you get blamed for a lot of things in this world but we ARE NOT blaming you or saying anything rude to you at all!!! I do not understand how you think we are asking you for a favor. REFUNDING YOU IS DEFINATELY NOT A FAVOR IN OUR EYES/ We are helping you. THe reason our account is suspended is because we asked ebay to do this. Someone broke into our account and used it so we asked ebay to make sure no info like banking numbers or other important info is messed with or damaged. WE ASKED FOR THIS. We ahve not been blaming you or being rude to you or asked you for any favors at all. We NEVER get this issue and we are sorry this has happened to yours MYSELF I WISH IT HAPPENED TO SOMEONE ELSE AS OTHER PEOPLE ARE MORE CARING AND NOT SO RUDE AS YOU ARE BUT IT HAPPENED TO YOU AND NOT SOMEONE ELSE so we have to deal with it in the correct way. I have not been rude to you in the slightest way and you keep coming back at me with blaming emails and other rude issues. All we were trying to do was issue you a refund if you were unhappy with your item. ALSO YOU WILL NOT FIND THIS ITEM FOR UNDER $15 ANYWHERE ANYWHERE ANYWHERE!!! I KNOW WAL MART IS NOT THE ONLY RETAILER! Wal mart however is THE CHEAPEST RETAILER!! THEY BEAT EVRYONES PRICES! And they will not go for less than $15 there! We Know a lot more about what we are saying as we are in the business and you obviously are not or you would understand more that accidents like this do happen as these are made thousands at a time! 1 damaged earphone that you paid $3.89 for should not upset you this bad. ESPECIALLY when we have offered you your money back and you can keep the earphones. From now on you can order from the chineese sellers on ebay and wait months for your orders. If you would have been polite abuot this we would have sent you as WE ALWAYS do 3 pair and you would have not had to pay anything.. But becuase you are so rude you never got to see that offer. Your little neutral feedback does not hurt my account. I do not care about that I WANTED TO MAKE YOU HAPPY obviously you are a very stubborn and rude individual or you do a lot of things wrong in life as you are acting like we are blaming you for something when we have not at all. We are going to end this transaction now. We do not want to deal with  you any more. Now if you want a refund we will need the damaged items as we did nothing rude to you and you keep being a big jerk. I am a 21 yr old single mother and this is all I do for work. I try very hard to keep this account at a 100% feedback and with people like you throwing a fit over $3 it makes it very annoying at times. You are exactly the type of person we sellers on ebay do not like to deal with. We sold this item for so low JUST TO MAKE YOU HAPPY the price alone is worth positive feedback unless your a cheap skate which it seems you may be. Like I said hang on I am going to check my paper work for last year….Ok im back last year I sold 9734 of these exact earphones and only had 17 damaged! That is very good. Sorry yours was 1 of them buy you need to learn a little respect. Is this the way you would talk to a lady at the store if you went to bring the item in for a return? I mean come on.. I did not even have to contact you once I saw you left neutral feedback. I could have just left it at that, but I want all my customers to be happy with their purchase. THAT IS WHY I CONTACTED YOU not to be selfish at all it was to try and offer you compensation or an exchange as you seemed unhappy. THE FEEDBACK really did not mean anything to me. I find it a bit ridiculous that you are asking a favor from me at the same time you are blaming me for not reading the description of the item. I read the description and nowhere in the entire thing does it say it’s a low quality product that will fall apart after a week. I even properly stored the headsets with no aggressive use on them. The rubber connecting from the plug to the base of where it plugs into my iPhone started to tear because it’s a low quality product. Like I said I got what I paid for, low quality. I don’t care to what level the audio outputs, just some earbuds that wouldn’t fall apart. It’s even more sketchy that your account has now been suspended. I can also assure you earbuds of such low quality can be found at numerous retail stores. Wal-mart is not the only place to purchase items in the U.S.

sorry we were not asking just to revise the feedback we also offered you your money back as well. We have sold THOUSANDS of these and you are the only 1 that has left neutral feedback. We were not trying to be selfish at all. We wanted to make sure you were happy with your purchase. Sorry if it came off that way at all. We offered you either another pair as obviously these were defective (we have not had bad feedback for this ever see for yourself) ** Notice in the latest e-mail from Brandy that 7 of these items were defective. or you can get your money back. That is really all we were asking. Of course we will ask to revise feedback in the same message why wait and act like we do not care about our feedback we try very hard to keep our feedback perfect. It is fine though no problem there is no need to revise. It would be nice but does not have to be done. We will still take care of you though so just let us know what needs to be done. Please contact us through email as our ebay is currently down as an unauthorized user has messed with our account info. Also please note if you were to look in any store in the entire United States you would not find this item for even under $15. In our store we do sell this item at $20 but with packaging. We remove the packaging to ship so we can get good feedback for this item by keeping the price extremely low. Please note all the other sales we had with our earphones, they are all the same earphones except the black and white sets shown in packaging with silicone caps. We have always had EXTREMELY happy people with the purchase of these earphones. Sorry you do not feel the same way. Now ebay feedback is suppose to be based on how the item is described and how fast we ship and how well we communicate. We have done all PERFECT. All specs of the earphones are in the auction. Sorry if you were looking for something with greater specs but you should have read these before leaving bad feedback saying they are not as described when they definately are exactly as described. That is fine we are just trying to help you understand the feedback system better. You are not suppose to say something is not as described when it is just becuase it is not as you want it to be. ***If it wasn’t obvious already Brandy is slightly illiterate and has issues with her caps locks key every now and then. For some reason my description of the item being cheap was an issue for her. I paid less than $5 for the thing.. come on dude. It’s cheap, I got what I paid for. It was garbage J***

Dear mnbs_everything4less2009,

Well I have a few issues with the e-mail you just sent me. First of all you claim those cheap ear buds were at any point $20. Perhaps for a lot of them you purchased for that amount. Second of all, I used them for a week and the rubber protecting the wire quickly split open, which caused the wire to split. It’s a very cheaply made product. Most importantly this is almost a form of bribery. The product was cheap and I got what I paid for, which is generally a poor item. I will not retract me neutral review because the item was of poor quality and others attempting to purchase them should not have to deal with it. I appreciate your offer but I feel that it was most inappropriate to ask for a retraction of my neutral review in exchange for a refund, that’s a poor business plan. Had you of asked to fix the issue without being selfish this may have resulted differently.
