Farmtown and Farmville are two of the most popular Facebook based game Apps and are now bumping heads. If you had not received at least a dozen invites, random tree gifts or see large notices of a lost half retarded cow or greased up deaf guy (ok so no deaf guy but that would be sweet) you are a lucky duck. One of the most wide spread diseases spread across Facebook are game invites and various annoying causes that you could care less about. However, Farmtown and Farmville are both rapidly growing games that actually emit some entertainment. As a result of Zynga’s ever growing ability to steal creative ideas from unknown developers, a competition has been created and through it innovation.

Some crappy games like Papaya farm give you a dumbed down version of these farm simulation games, but Farmville and Farmtown let you be a bit more creative. For instances my Web development team leader known as Jason Statham caught me playing Farm Town on break and make fun of me. I retailed with a suck it message made out of blue berries. While Farm Town is probably the better drawn it holds a lot of bugs still and Zynga’s Farmville is just a half ass made flash game. They both work well but the cheapness of Zynga’s stuff just turns me away from it.

As a result of these two bumping heads you can save time by purchasing vehicles, get strawberry milk from cows, have ridiculous decorations like a giant plant monster and now buildings that look like slaughter houses for cows (they even have little cow ghosts coming out of the stacks but it’s used for ‘milking’).

Generally Farmville and Farm Town going at each other will keep the game play fresh and kill a good 20 minutes of boredom. Farm Town is still considered a beta so it’s understandable to have bugs, but Farmville just gets sloppy as Zynga always is.

Final Scores:

Farm Town 4/5 Burritos

Farmville 3.5/5 Burritos
