Papaya farm was a massive fail, but with the new free release of Tap Farm, things are looking up.
Where Papaya farm failed (had spelling errors everywhere, weird plot and plan system, took way to long to farm, crashed often and all around sucked) Tap Farm prevails!
Essentially the makers of Tap Farm ported the popular Facebook game Farmville onto the iPhone and it works rather well. Occasionally there are issues with connections and the neighbor feature doesn’t work well yet, but it’s an all around great iPhone app that costs no money.
Although the game itself is free, if you want to speed up the harvesting, plowing and seeding you have to pay a dollar for each. There is also an upgrade option for the size of your farm for a dollar as well.
Over all the game gets a 5/5 for being so much better than Papaya farm.

Constant errors syncing with server, terrible drag-and-drop system that makes it hard to line up your plots well (guess there's your incentive to buy that freemium plowing tool!). Random rules about what you can move after placing and what you can't. Music that won't stay off.
Yeah, this app is great. The developers can't even be bothered to build a functional website to host FAQs.
This review was in comparison to papaya farm.
I hate tap farm and ifarm.
Just bring PAPAYA FARM BACK!! I NEVER had trouble w papaya farm. I accessed it using ipod touch. I only saw iphone users have issues.
Papaya farm had terrible misspellings and was built like crap. Totally disagree.
Misspellings is something that can be overlooked.. they did need to fix it, I agree with that, but these other farm games I REALLY HATE THEM..
If i buy a cow and harvest it what do i get? Do I keep the cow to harvest again?
Yes, you get to keep the cow.
Yes, all animals may be harvested repeatedly.
IMO Papaya Farm is better than Tap Farm because of friends. In Papaya Farm you get to visit, steal and share with your friends. What's the point in making a great farm in Tap Farm when the only neighbor you visit is the developer's farm?
