The internets has been shaken last night when a group calling themselves the Iranian Cyber Army hijacked Twitter, a NASA site and various others.
What was their message? Apparently they don’t want America to “stimulate” Iranian people. Now I don’t know about you, but Twitter doesn’t seem like a good place to send a message to American’s to quit trying to stimulate the Iranian people. This just sounds like a jealous girlfriend (Iran) having issues with the new girl (America) taking all their men.
In all sincerity though, the group has tried to state that their cheesy hijacking of some terribly under-protected sites is a cause for concern. If anything it’s just a wake up call for the Web developers to put some security in place.
The message that was displayed on Twitter goes as follows:
Iranian Cyber Army
THIS SITE HAS BEEN HACKED BY IRANIAN CYBER ARMY
iRANiAN.CYBER.ARMY@GMAIL.COM
U.S.A. Think They Controlling And Managing Internet By Their Access, But THey Don’t, We Control And Manage Internet By Our Power, So Do Not Try To Stimulation Iranian Peoples To….
NOW WHICH COUNTRY IN EMBARGO LIST? IRAN? USA?
WE PUSH THEM IN EMBARGO LIST

Take Care.
Sadly the Iranian Cyber Army speaks like a 12-year-old on a 4chan forum (If you don’t know what that is, it’s best to keep it that way.) While Twitter is used by many people, which of course spreads the message like wild fire, it doesn’t harm anything or anyone. So unless they actually were stealing information, which they didn’t, this act was more than likely not really a terrorist act, but a hacker trying to place blame else where. I guess we won’t know until the next DefCon Hacker convention on Vegas, or someone decides to fess up.

Mojocamp site hijacked
We are not quite sure what mojocamp is, but they were also hijacked with the above photo.
