Holy Super Awesome Apple Technology Batman! Oh wait, it’s actually garbage.So you know that thing that Apply Fanboys are now drooling over, the iPad? The $499 tablet is supposed to make waves as a new form of between computer and cell phone technology, but wait, it costs more?
A decent laptop will cost under $400, have a cd-rom drive and USB ports. Oh they also let you multi task, view Flash Websites and already have a built in keyboard.
Will there be any real use for the tablet? Sure, but not for the base price of $499. The iPhone costs around $200 (ignore the monthly cost, the addiction is worth it), allows you to do generally everything the tablet does and makes phone calls.
Let’s make a comparison chart between the iPhone, the tablet and a basic laptop or netbook.
