Apptastic Friday: Curling, Zelda Rip-offs and Starcraft like awesomeness?

Apptastic Friday!

Over a million Apps in the App store, how else would you decide what to download? Play This’ Apptastic Friday.

Apple tends to block some very odd choices at times, but those who squeak through their system never cease to surprise. Although Fish Bate is not obviously a game about masturbating a fish to death, the creator intended it a such. That being said, Graal Classic is a legitimate copy of Super Nintendo’s, The Legend of Zelda.

Graal Classic

Sure looks like Zelda graphics

Now the game itself is pretty buggy, but the idea itself is awesome, aside from the obvious theft of graphics and gameplay. Essentially you can play with any number of players in a co-op version of The Legend of Zelda. There is not much of a story line yet and the attacking game play lags like crazy, but the concept is cool. We found up to 500 players on the network we connected too, which all seemed to be in one area, and quite possibly having awkward 8-bit cyber love.

8-bit hookers and abandoned babies? pass.

Graal Classic is currently free in the App store, but it looks like they will start charging for it soon.

Balloon Boy

Balloon Boy

Essentially you just move the balloon boy blimp craft thing up and down to avoid crap and try not to crash. More or less lame and not worth the moolah.

Posty McPost

Posty McGrabage

Posty McPost is just a way for App users to share and review their favorite apps on social networking sites. Apparently the creators have never tried linking the iTunes pages directly. Over all lame as well.

Warfare Inc.

Eat your heart out Command and Conquer

If the game sounds familiar, it’s because this game has been around since palm pilots. The game has been tweaked, evolved and even given a free map editor. Basically it’s Starcraft for your iPhone or iPod. The game works great, you can download as many multiplayer levels for free as you would like and the game is only .99 cents.

If you want a game to eat away at your already busy schedule, Warfare Incorporated is just what the doctor ordered.
