The race is finally upon us, Sunday, March 14 at 9 a.m. in Washington DC.
I’ve been working my behind off trying to get ready for my first race, and although it may only be an 8K; it’s a start.
Now that I’ve finally received my number and the nifty time tracking device on Saturday, its time to crank out every last bit of energy out that I have before the big race. Of course the training doesn’t end Saturday, even if we do have a fridge full of green beer already. Shortly after this race is a 16K run, which already seems to have sold out and means it would be pretty lame of me to ditch.
Runner's Number: 3864 Elliot M 24 ALEXANDRIA VA
After tracking my running improvement, I failed to realize a rather stupid mistake of mine while training. During our blizzard, it took out all of the possible out door running areas out, leaving me in door means of training. Hard ground on your pansy feet apparently hurts like hell. That being said I’ve made a major push in training and doubling up until Saturday.
To think, I even still have plenty of time to get some Battlefield Bad Company 2 in during the midsts of training, grad school and work. Suck it Trebek.

I will take anal bum covers for $500 please. That's An album cover!
