HD versions of your favorite iPhone games are now hitting the iPad, w00t!

Avallon Alliance developer and publisher of iPhone/iPod touch and iPad games released “The Stone of Destiny HD” – iPad version of its award-winning hit game, which was the first game in hidden object genre on iPhone. As you might expect, the iPad is an ideal venue for this kind of game, providing ease of use through the high-res graphics and the touchscreen.

The game begins with the mysterious disappearance of your uncle, who left you just a list of objects and a map. To find and rescue him, you travel the world and collect artifacts, concealed in the most remote corners of the Earth. These artifacts will give you clues to reach the enigmatic Stone of Destiny. Detective-style narrative keeps in suspense till the end of the game.

A world map allows you to select a stage, of which there are usually a handful of available scenes at each junction. Your starting point is the habitual library but you’ll never predict, where next you’ll travel – to a primeval forest, an old Celtic church, the ruins of an ancient Buddhist temple, African village to name a few among 27 locations available in the game.

One the most exciting game features is its beautiful detailed artwork (not much different from the PC and iPhone versions in terms of look and feel), combining multilayer photo-realistic look of sceneries at main locations and comic-book style at story twist. Graphics looks even more splendid in iPad dimensions. Generally, “The Stone of Destiny HD” gives players the feel of participating in old-school adventures like in Indiana Jones movies.

“The Stone of Destiny HD” is available in iPad section of App Store for $3.99: http://www.avaloid.com/stone-of-destiny-hd/appstore/

Avallon Alliance is working hard on improving the game. Future update will add to the game social features.
