Google Voice is now available for immediate invites if you are a college student, or have a .edu e-mail address.
Google Voice has been one of the most rare features of Google to gain access too, but now if you are a college student, or basically anyone with a .edu e-mail address, Google will send you an invite in 24 hours.
All you need to do is go to the Google Voice for students website, stick in your e-mail address and in about 24 hours you will gain access to free nationwide calling, free voicemail to text message transcription and a log of the voice mails.
You can login to the mobile Google Voice site and call people through your Google Voice number, essentially giving you a second line. We’ve used this feature for a while now and even provided us with a second office line. Pretty sweet!
Google, if you are taking over the world and can keep giving us cool free stuff like this, we’re ok with it. Facebook on the other hand, get your stuff together.
