Early impressions from Social Media buzz were low for the most anticipated PC game this decade, but have since improved.
Twitter is a great place to gage how the average consumer feels about a product, situation or event. We had earlier reported that there was very little mention of StarCraft II, which often means there is very little interest. Since the official release of StarCraft II: Wings of Liberty on July 27 however, it has been mentioned 31 percent more on all social media sites [Statistics gathered by use of tHE ARCHIVISIT].
Sales numbers for Activision Blizzard, Inc. have also been on the rise, but has not released the official sales numbers yet. Supposedly over 800,000 copies of the game were sold through pre-orders alone.
