Welcome to a world of blunt statements and free speech! The lady killer, CeeLo Green, has returned with a solo venture entitled “The Ladykiller”. He has released the first single in the form of a lyric video. The lyric video for “Fuck You” was posted August 4 on the website and YouTube and is already just over 1.4 million views. While video leaves much to be desired, the lyrics of the song are definitely worth the view. The video uses animated lyrics to illustrate the strong feelings of the song.
Hate never sounded so good! In the song CeeLo goes on about the girl that got away. He beautifully sings his beliefs that she’s a gold-digger and that she’d never left him if he had more money. The lyric video is more of a promotion for the song than an actual video for the song.
From here there is a plan to release a true video for the song. The video is to be released next week. “The Ladykiller” is due to be released in the U.S. and the UK on October 4.
This song and the following video is for all those people out there who are being pushed aside for the stud with the luxury car and the expensive jewelry. This song is your opportunity to go right back at her and tell her how you feel. There is no doubt that this is a song that guys (and some girls) will be going back to listen to every time a heart breaks.
