So after various angry comments I have decided to not only keep Play This Magazine in it’s original format, but to give it a new home. Play This Magazine will now be located at www.play-this.org/magazine – Pretty easy right? The same WordPress layout will be used with a few tweaks here and there, and all information regarding Play This Media will be separated on the main site.
Changes:
Article format – All articles will now have proper formatting so they actually appear in search engines. Previously this information was simply placed on Play This as a collection of thoughts. A large portion of the magazine will be used to focus on research, social media and Gov 2.0 news. Occasionally I will have random images that appear to make everyone happy, but honestly if you take a look at Reddit you will find them directly from the source.
Unfortunately my work with Game Rant has also been put on hiatus as there is only so much time in a day. Focusing on training for spring races, a graduate theses that will get published, a March wedding and improving the govWin community are my current priorities.
Improvements:
Less things that annoy you. The one share bar at the bottom will remain, but the wibiya tool bar, ads and poor formatting issues that were previously found should be destroyed.
Pacman:
Those Pacman Ninja pranks that were pulled back in the days as a developer for the FAA have not been forgotten. I will have a few more tricks up my sleeve in the next month or so.
