Non-profits require a personal touch, and consistent updates to keep supporters in the know. The following guidelines will help anyone just starting to blog for a non-profit. EFM is currently supporting CVHJP, so this has terms relating to their activities, but are interchangeable. Just remember, always remain factual and those who believe in your cause will support your work.

The following is part of a 365 article series from The Realistic Nutritionist, we will be posting various parts and updates as she goes along. To check out the rest of her blog check out her site.

Can you believe 2009 is almost over? As I sit back and look at what a year this was, I’m so incredibly thankful I made it through [and for all of the amazing opportunities it brought!] And with 2010 just around the corner, I get eager and excited to see what this next year has to bring for me. As I sit and daydream of what is to come, I also start to think of what resolution I will make when the clock strikes midnight. Year after year, I’ve made a resolution, some more attainable than others, some more vain or superficial. And each year as the months pass, my resolution seems to fade in the passing days. And it’s not that I’m not trying my best to achieve my promise, it’s that things get busy and life, well, just happens. So no matter how hard I consciously try to keep my new years resolution, it always falls at the wayside and I’m left to wonder, will I ever keep a resolution I make on New Years Eve?

To read the rest of this article go check out her blog, Julie and Julia doesn’t have squat on her.

*The Real Nutritionist is part of the Play This bettering personal site assistance program. Wan’t to make your site get more views? Perhaps a better look? EFM (Evolution Freelance Media) can help you out. Just check out our service list.

This weeks shamless whoring of a blog site is that of The Realistic Nutritionist. The Realistic Nutritionist holds information that would likely be found in health magazines, but can actually relate to you. Feel fat around the holidays? Perhaps just a bit stressed from the massive amounts of family around? This girl will help you figure out how to deal with every day life without spending awkward amounts of money. Basically fixing your stress and reducing the fat in your ass by drinking copious amounts of alcohol, sexual acts and working out or living health consciously.

The Realistic Nutritionist (TRN) can be found on a free WordPress blog and is part of Play This magazine’s give back to the reader foundation for the website illiterate. TRN is actually part of our tutorial series to help improve and create cheap Websites for those who want to create a web reputation.

*Note, we do not codone her use of color coating or background images and it will be fantastically magically better (that’s what we tell people who don’t know what HTML and CSS are) when her site is made fully public and on it’s own domain.
